Shape up your face with these facial exercises

Facial exercise don`t burn fat but go a long way in toning and firming the facial muscle, keeping your face looking young.

  1. THE LATERAL SMILE(for the cheeks)
    • Sit upright, and hold your expression in a non-smiling, regular state.
    • Using only the right half of your mouth, try smiling to your right, do the same to your left, as if your mouth is twitching. Do 10 sets on each side.
  2. THE HEAD TILT (for neck and chin)
    • slowly raise your head up from your chest; tilt it as far back as possible without straining it.
    • close your mouth tight so that you feel the neck muscle stretch. Count to 10, relax, and bring your head back to normal. Do 10 sets.
  3. THE OPEN GOB (FOR the whole face)
    • Sit upright and open and close your mouth several times, feeling the mouth muscle and check stretch each time you do this.

RULE OF FOUR

  • Don’t smoke

    Smoking damages important connective fibers like collagen and elastin, causing permanent wrinkle.

  • Take high intake of vitamin C

    your body will be ensured of a regular supply of vitamin to keep your skin elastic.

  • Cut salt

    sodium is nasty. It makes the body retain fluids rather than flush them out, leaving you bloated. Choose fresh foods over frozen food. Limit the number of times you go eat in Restaurant for meal. Outside food contain obscene amount of salt.

  • Include calcium rich food in diet

    calcium rich foods like spinach, broccoli and sesame seeds help reduce  water retention.
