Determination to Succeed in Your Home Based Business

So if you are sitting there about to throw in the towel then let me share this little story with you.

For Sports Relief 2010, a British Comedian Eddie Izzard took up the challenge to run 43 marathons in 51 days – running 6 out of the 7 days within a week. Running around 27 miles per day, he ran a total of 1,110miles.

Running one marathon would be a challenge for many, so imagine waking up every morning for 43 days knowing you are going to endure a 27 mile run.

For those first few runs, I’m sure Eddie was all up for it. Maybe on the fifth he woke up hurting, but was still motivated to continue running. This may have still been the case on his 10th run. But imagine what is body and mind must have been thinking when waking up for his 15th, 20th, 30th and 40th runs.

So why then do so many give up trying to succeed so early. If you are starting up your own home based business or even a small business then let’s face it, it’s not all going to happen overnight. It’s not all going to be easy. You have to work at it. Just think of Eddie with the tenacity, determination and focus he had.
